SUNDAY 8 IN THE MIDST OF THE STORMS, PERSEVERE! “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. 13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death; 16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. MONDAY 9 CONTINUALLY MEDITATING AND FEEDING ON GOD’S WORD IS SPIRITUALLY FULFILLING! “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow evil men’s advice, who do not hang around with sinners, scoffing at the things of God. 2 But they delight in doing everything God wants them to, and day and night are always meditating on his laws and thinking about ways to follow him more closely. 3 They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.” Glory to God! Psalm 1 Vs 1-3 (TLB)
TUESDAY 10 AS FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST, WE MUST PERSEVERE IN SHARING THE GOSPEL TO ALL THOSE AROUND US! “I have a duty to perform and a debt to pay both to Greeks and to barbarians [the cultured and the uncultured], both to the wise and to the foolish. 15 So, for my part, I am ready and eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. 16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “THE JUST and UPRIGHT SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.” Romans 1 Vs 14-17 (AMP)
WEDNESDAY 11 BE PERSISTENT IN WATCHING AND PRAYING—WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THE MASTER WILL RETURN! As long as we have life, we must pray; as long as there are sinners in the world— pray; as long as our children, loved ones, and family members are lost—we must fervently pray! God’s interest in man is to have every soul saved—it’s not His will that any should perish! Satan is still on the loose so prayer should never be an option, but it must be a necessity—our prayers to the true living God will resist the enemy. “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” Pray for the lost, all nations and for the body of Christ! THURSDAY 12
WITH MUCH PERSEVERENCE, FULFILL THE MINISTRY YOU WERE CALLED TO DO! “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” 2 Tim 4 Vs 2-5 (NIV)
FRIDAY 13 OPPOSITION WILL ALWAYS ARISE WHEN WE ARE DETERMINED TO WORK TOWARDS ADVANCING THE KINDOM OF GOD! Satan’s will use all kinds of schemes and tactics to stir up trouble, but when we stay focus and trust in God, he could never win! When Sanballat learnt that the Jews were rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, he got angry and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he mocked God’s people. Nehemiah cried out to the God of Heaven for them not be ridiculed. God confused their enemy; and the laborers carried on their work from sunrise to sunset, They persevered and the wall of Jerusalem was finished on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days; when the enemy and surrounding nations heard of the Jews’ completion of the wall, they lose confidence and thought it could only be the hand of God whom had helped them. TUESDAY 3 ALWAYS SET THE LORD BEFORE YOU—LET HIM BE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY! “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. 7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. 8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope…. 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16 Vs 5-11 (KJV)
WEDNESDAY 4 BE STEADFAST IN PRAYER AND DON’T FORGET TO PRAY FOR OTHERS—IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY BELIEVER! “I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; 17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people).” Pray for increase faith for all your brothers and sisters in Christ and don’t get weary in praying for the unsaved! THURSDAY 5 JOY, PEACE AND THE ANSWERS TO WHICH WE SEARCH FOR WILL COME WHEN WE SEEK GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS—HE HONORS YOUR COMMITMENT TO HIM! “The family got up early the next morning, worshiped before the LORD, and returned to their home in Ramah. FRIDAY 6 IT’S IMPERATIVE THAT WE KNOW THE LORD FOR OURSELVES—WE MUST CONTINUALLY SEEK HIM, GET TO KNOW HIM AND IT IS OUR DUTY TO LIVE IN OBEDIENCE TO HIM! “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands].” Matthew 7 Vs 21-23 (AMP)
SATURDAY 7 OBEY THE LORD! BE A WATCHMAN FOR LOST SOULS AND TELL THE WORLD THAT JESUS SAVES! “After seven days the LORD gave me a message. He said, 17 “Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, warn people immediately. 18 If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 19 If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. PRAYER GIVES STILLNESS TO STORMY SEAS! Prayer has power to save you from your storms and distresses of life! WEDNESDAY 12 GOD IS PLEASED WHEN HIS CHILDREN ARE OF ONE HEART AND SOUL! “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness. 32 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. 33 And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.” Pray frequently throughout the day for each other—pray that we all live a harmonious life—pleasing our heavenly father. God also commanded the Children of the Old Testament to be holy Leviticus 11:44; therefore, our lives must be set apart from the world because we have chosen a different lifestyle to live by. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:” 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV).

SUNDAY 2 HOLINESS UNTO GODLINESS! Our lives are sanctified by the power of God through the Holy Spirit. We are not capable of living the Christian life on our own, that’s why He has sent us the Divine help of the Holy Spirit—hallelujah! The Christian life is a sanctified life—a life of holiness unto God. The blood of Jesus has washed and cleansed us from all our sins to do the will of God; therefore, holiness must be our evident lifestyle. The bible tells us without holiness, none of us will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14
MONDAY 3 WHAT IS HOLINESS? Holiness is wholesomeness, completeness, pureness, and perfection unto God. It is also a place in God. When God sanctifies something—whether it’s a place, a person or a thing, it becomes holy. That person, place or thing becomes separated from all things, unto God. As God’s children, we’ve been sanctified by the Spirit unto Him; therefore, we are holy. Also, when God’s presence comes upon someone or when His presence comes upon a place—like it did on Mount Sinai in the Old Testament, it becomes holy. The temple in the Old Testament also was called holy because the presence of God dwelt there, and God had separated that place unto Himself. Exodus 24:16
TUESDAY 4 THOSE WHO LIVE A LIFE OF HOLINESS Those who live a life of holiness, live according to the will and the divine plans and purposes of God. They live to avoid the sinful desires of the flesh and seek to be led by the power of the Holy Spirit. A life of holiness typifies a Christ-like life—following the examples of Jesus Christ—living a life of obedience, reverence and worship to the Father. They love the word of God and meditate daily. Their lives are spiritually filled and is therefore void of ungodly activities. They desire to have a profound relationship with their Creator—serving Him whole-heartedly. Colossians 3:23
WEDNESDAY 5 HOLINESS BRINGS ON PRAYERFULNESS A person living in holiness understands the significance of prayer. He or she prays continually as the word of God has instructed. It’s not just the fancy word of his/her prayers that motivates God to move on his/her behalf, but it’s the brokenness, sincerity and pureness of the heart—the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Let’s pray for each other, world- wide nations, and as the Spirit of God leads…Pray often throughout the day! James 5:16
THURSDAY 6 HOLINESS MUST BE EVIDENT IN THE LIFE WE LIVE Our lives must manifest a Christ-like behavior—the way we talk—the things we say, the places we go, the company we keep, the way we dress and how we conduct ourselves—everything we do in our daily lives, must represents Jesus and reflects holiness, “for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1 Vs 16 (NIV)
FRIDAY 7 HOLINESS MUST BE SET APART FROM WORLDLINESS “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2 15-17 (NIV)
SATURDAY 8 HOLINESS IS EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK, MONTH AND YEAR! God intends for all to live a holy life—everyday! When we live in His righteousness, He will not hesitate to be in our presence. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit; however, He will not enter a defiled temple—holiness is His dwelling place. “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)

AS HIS CHILDREN, GOD EXPECTS US TO BUILD OURSELVES UP IN FAITH AND SHOW MERCY TO THOSE OF WEAKER/WAVERING FAITH. “But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit,[g] 21 and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. 22 And you must show mercy to[h] those whose faith is wavering.23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment.
