DAILY FOCUS

SUNDAY 1 JESUS STATES THE TWO GREATEST COMMANDMENTS OF ALL FOR US TO LIVE BY! “Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. 30 And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12 Vs 29-31 (NLT)

MONDAY 2 SET ASIDE VALUABLE MOMENTS EACH DAY TO WORSHIP THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD—YOUR CREATOR “You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. 5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you”. Psalm 63 Vs 1-5 (NIV)

TUESDAY 3 ALWAYS SET THE LORD BEFORE YOU—LET HIM BE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY! “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. 7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. 8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope…. 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16 Vs 5-11 (KJV)

WEDNESDAY 4 BE STEADFAST IN PRAYER AND DON’T FORGET TO PRAY FOR OTHERS—IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY BELIEVER! “I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; 17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people).” Pray for increase faith for all your brothers and sisters in Christ and don’t get weary in praying for the unsaved! Ephesians 1 Vs 16-18 (AMP)

THURSDAY 5 JOY, PEACE AND THE ANSWERS TO WHICH WE SEARCH FOR WILL COME WHEN WE SEEK GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS—HE HONORS YOUR COMMITMENT TO HIM! “The family got up early the next morning, worshiped before the LORD, and returned to their home in Ramah. Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her [prayer]. 20 It came about in due time, after Hannah had conceived, that she gave birth to a son; she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.” 1 Samuel 1 Vs 19-20 (AMP)

FRIDAY 6 IT’S IMPERATIVE THAT WE KNOW THE LORD FOR OURSELVES—WE MUST CONTINUALLY SEEK HIM, GET TO KNOW HIM AND IT IS OUR DUTY TO LIVE IN OBEDIENCE TO HIM! “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands].” Matthew 7 Vs 21-23 (AMP)

SATURDAY 7 OBEY THE LORD! BE A WATCHMAN FOR LOST SOULS AND TELL THE WORLD THAT JESUS SAVES! “After seven days the LORD gave me a message. He said, 17 “Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, warn people immediately. 18 If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 19 If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me.” Ezekiel 3 Vs 16-19 (NLT)

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT: Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV) “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
