SUNDAY 12 BE OF A COMMITTED HEART: WORK HARD TO PLEASE GOD! “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 (NLT0)
MONDAY 13 A HEART FULL OF LOVE FOR GOD IS A JOYFUL HEART—ONE THAT IS LOYAL AND FULLY COMMITTED TO DOING HIS WILL! “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. 6 These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be [written] on your heart and mind. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children [impressing God’s precepts on their minds and penetrating their hearts with His truths] and shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. 8 And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand (forearm), and they shall be used as bands (frontals, frontlets) on your forehead. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” DEUTER 6 5-9 (AMP)
TUESDAY 14 STAY COMMITTED TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD YOUR GOD: “And so, my children listen to me, for all who follow my ways are joyful.33 Listen to My instruction and be wise. Don’t ignore it. 34 Joyful are those who listen to Me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home! 35 For Whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.” PROVERBS 8:32-35 (NLT)
WEDNESDAY 15 PRAYER IS THE ESSENCE OF A WONDERFUL AND COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD—OUR HEAVENLY FATHER DELIGHTS IN WHEN WE CALL UPON HIM! “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Be committed in prayer for each other and perishing souls—It’s not God’s will that any should perish… PSALM 91 Vs 14-16 (KJV)
THURSDAY 16 BE FAITHFUL IN ALL YOUR WAYS TO THE LORD AND SERVE HIM WHOLEHEARTEDLY! “4Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem, and he went out again among the people from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim and turned them back to the LORD, the God of their ancestors…9 He gave them these orders: “You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the LORD. 2 CHRON 19 Vs 4-9 (NIV)
FRIDAY 17 DELIGHT YOURSELF IN DOING THE WILL OF GOD AND LET HIS WORDS BE PERMANENTLY WRITTEN ON THE TABLET OF YOUR HEART! “My son, keep my words and treasure my commandments within you. 2 Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of your eye. 3 Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.” PROVERBS 7 Vs1-3 (NASB)
SATURDAY 18 TRUE WORSHIP IS GENUINE LOVE AND ADORATION, PROCLAMATIONS OF JOY, GREAT REVERENCE AND ETERNAL COMMITMENT TO OUR CREATOR! “Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.24 Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. 25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods. 26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. 27 Splendor and majesty are before Him, strength and joy are in His place. 28 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him; worship the LORD in holy array.30 Tremble before Him, all the earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. 31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” 1 Chronicles 16 23-31 (NASB)
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT: PROVERBS 3:6 (TLB) says: “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.”
