“Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” ROMANS 8:8-11 (NIV)

SUNDAY 31 SPIRITUALLY-MINDED CHILDREN OF GOD EXPRESS “AWE-FILLED REVERENCE” FOR
HIM. “Then those who feared the LORD [with awe-filled reverence] spoke to one
another; and the LORD paid attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was
written before Him of those who fear the LORD [with an attitude of reverence and
respect] and who esteem His name. 17 “They will be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts,
“on that day when I publicly recognize them and openly declare them to be My own
possession [that is, My very special treasure]. And I will have compassion on them
and spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”

belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we
live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 26 Let us not become boastful,
challenging one another, envying one another.”

WEDNESDAY 3 PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT WILL SPIRITUALLY BUILD YOU UP! “But you, beloved, build
yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise
like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in
the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord
Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who
are doubting; 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy
but with fear, loathing even the clothing spotted and polluted by their shameless
immoral freedom.” Pray for the gospel of Jesus Christ to take full course all around
the world—reaching souls that desperately need salvation!

governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to
God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm

FRIDAY 5 THOSE WHO DWELL IN SPIRITUAL SLEEPINESS IS UNAWARE OF WHAT GOD IS
SAYING! INCLINE YOUR EARS AND HEAR THE WORD: “This is the reason I speak to
the crowds in parables: because while [having the power of] seeing they do not see,
and while [having the power of] hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand
and grasp [spiritual things]. 14 In them the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which
says, ‘YOU WILL HEAR and KEEP ON HEARING, BUT NEVER UNDERSTAND; AND YOU WILL LOOK and
KEEP ON LOOKING, BUT NEVER COMPREHEND; 15 FOR THIS NATION’S HEART HAS GROWN HARD, AND
WITH THEIR EARS THEY HARDLY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE [tightly] CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY
WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, AND HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART, AND
TURN [to Me] AND I WOULD HEAL THEM [spiritually].’ 16 But blessed [spiritually aware, and
favored by God] are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.

SATURDAY 6 CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH GOD SPIRITUALLY LIVE AND FEED ON HIS WORD!

with sinners, scoffing at the things of God. 2 But they delight in doing everything God
wants them to, and day and night are always meditating on his laws and thinking
about ways to follow him more closely. 3 They are like trees along a riverbank
bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and
all they do shall prosper.”
