MEDITATION: WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
“Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. 5 Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. 6He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. 7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. 8 Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm ” PSALM 37:3-8 (NLT)

DAILY FOCUS
SUNDAY 19 DON’T BE DISCOURAGED—TRUST GOD HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH! “Then Moses called for Joshua, and as all Israel watched, he said to him, “Be strong and courageous! For you will lead these people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors he would give them. You are the one who will divide it among them as their grants of land. 8 Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuter 31 Vs 7-8 (NLT)

MONDAY 20 CONTINUE TO WALK IN LOVE FOR IT PLEASES THE HEART OF GOD WHEN WE HAVE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER! “Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; 2 and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.” Ephesians 5 Vs 1-2 (AMP)

TUESDAY 21 DON’T NEGLECT TO DO GOOD: HELP THOSE IN NEED AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS WITH THE UPLIFTING WORD OF GOD! “We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15 Vs 1-6 (NLT)

WEDNESDAY 22 THE WORD OF GOD IS EFFECTIVE—IT PURIFIES THE SOUL! DAILY PRAY THEM IN YOUR PRAYERS, AND OVER ALL THE CHALLENGES LIFE BRINGS! “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” Let us pray for our brothers and sisters around the world, for all nations and leaders as well as lost soul…Pray as often as you can throughout the day! Psalm 27 Vs 1-4 (KJV)

THURSDAY 23 REJOICE, DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED—GOD IS FAITHFUL; HE WILL NOT ABANDON YOU! “I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. 11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16 Vs 8-11 (NIV)

FRIDAY 24 TELL THE LORD HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HIM FOR FIRST LOVING YOU AND BE ENCOURAGED TO EXTEND THE SAME LOVE HE HAS PLACED IN YOUR HEART FOR OTHERS! “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8 Vs 35-39 (KJV)

SATURDAY 25 A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT: NO MATTER WHAT TOILS AND SNARES COME YOUR WAY—GIVE GOD THE GLORY! PRAISE HIM WHILE YOU STILL HAVE BREATH! “Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. 2Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—3who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103 Vs 1-5 (NIV)
